Who We Are
The Mighty Rose Foundation was founded in 2018 by members of the Prince George's County Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., to promote social, civic, cultural, economic, and educational progress for families and communities in Prince George’s County, Maryland. As a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, the Mighty Rose Foundation provides scholarship aid to deserving Prince George’s County residents of all backgrounds and conducts educational programs, workshops, symposiums, and forums that enhance the quality of life in Prince George’s County and surrounding communities.
How We Serve
The Mighty Rose Foundation hosts community service initiatives throughout the year to support children, youth and families throughout Prince George's County, MD.
Operation Big Book Bag
In partnership with Zeta Tau Sigma chapter, the Mighty Rose Foundation collects school supplies throughout the year to support local teachers and schools.
Notable Day of Service - November 11, 2022
In honor of the 100th anniversary of Sigma Gamma Rho's founding, the Mighty Rose Foundation is seeking monetary and in-kind donations of toiletries for care packages for active military overseas and unhoused veterans.
